In the 1st year, students attend a rigorous academic program in the different economic disciplines and quantitative techniques for social sciences. The common core courses allow them to deepen their knowledge and the elective courses allow students to build up their careers projects, taking into account the specializations in the second year of the master’s programs.

In the 2nd year, the master in Economics of Markets and Organizations program combines a solid training in industrial organization, regulatory economics, and econometrics that give students a real expertise in the analysis of strategic aspects of a market, the identification of the determinants of the firms’ economic performance in a market, and the evaluation of policies aimed at improving the market efficiency.

*** 5 students of the EEP Master (Environmental Policy and Energy Economics path) are authorized by the EMO Master Director to attend the "Industrial Organization of the Food Industry" course (on the 1st come/1st served basis).

**** 5 students of the EMO Master are authorized by the EEP Master Director to attend the "Energy Economics and Climate Policy" (on the 1st come/1st served basis).

(i) Students who have attended Project Management in M1 cannot register in M2. Depending on the compatibility of the schedule.

Admission is based on academic excellence. 

Courses are entirely taught in English: a C1 English language certificate may be required depending on the applicant’s profile (IELTS Academic, TOEFL iBT or CAE).

Applicants who do not hold a degree obtained in the French higher education system are required to submit GRE test results.

Applications are submitted through TSE's eCandidatures platform.

First year admission:

TSE students will be admitted provided they validated their undergraduate degree.

External students may apply if they successfully completed a BA or BSc in Economics or in Applied Mathematics.

Second year admission:

TSE students from the M1 Economics or Applied Economics will be admitted provided they followed and passed the courses recommended for the specialization with satisfactory results.

External students may apply if they successfully completed a 4-year undergraduate degree or a Master’s degree in the fields of Economics or Applied Mathematics. 

Application campaigns will take place: 

  • Fall campaign (Eiffel scholarship): October 22nd to November 11th 2026
  • Winter campaign: January 11th to February 1st 2027.
