Committees and referees
The Toulouse School of Economics has established a network of committees, task forces, and resource persons to ensure a respectful, ethical, and inclusive work and study environment. These initiatives cover the prevention and handling of sensitive situations (harassment, discrimination), the promotion of equality, social responsibility, and adherence to ethical and scientific principles.
Every member of the TSE community can turn to these bodies for support, guidance, or to safely report an unusual situation.

CARE – Combating Abuse, Respecting Equality
The CARE program ensures that anyone facing situations of violence, discrimination, or harassment has the opportunity to be heard in a safe environment.
It is based on two complementary bodies:
- The CARE Support Unit: dedicated to listening and providing support
- The Case Management Unit: responsible for analyzing reports and proposing appropriate measures
- The Investigation Unit: called upon, if necessary, to complete the investigation of a case
Individuals are met by a trained support team, composed as much as possible according to their preferences and the context. Discussions take place in a confidential, supportive, and non-judgmental setting.

Social and Environmental Responsibility – Sustainable Development Committee (CSR-SD)
Sustainable development and Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (SD & CSR) at TSE are part of an approach aimed at reducing the environmental impact of the campuses, improving quality of life and inclusion within the institution, and evolving practices toward more transparent and consistent governance. At TSE, this approach also involves focusing education and research on major ecological and social challenges in order to actively contribute to the necessary transitions.
The CSR-SD Committee, shared by the School and the JJ Laffont Foundation, oversees TSE’s social and environmental responsibility strategy.
This approach is based on the national SD&CS framework, developed by:
- France Universités
- the Conférence des Grandes Écoles
- the Ministry of Higher Education and Research
Objective: To launch the initiatives outlined in the institution's roadmap for social and ecological transition and to obtain the DD&RS certification by 2027.
