The goal of these two years is to provide students with a solid foundation in Management and Economics, and a broad general knowledge of Economics, enabling them to subsequently enroll in programs offered by the Toulouse School of Economics - TSE and the Toulouse School of Management - TSM. The curriculum for the preparatory program includes, among other things, courses in general Economics, an introduction to Management, and remedial courses in Mathematics for Economics and Management.

  • A strong interest in Mathematics (see the concepts required for admission to the first year), which will serve as tools for economic analysis,

After successfully completing the two-year preparatory program in Économie et Gestion, students may apply for Year 1 of the TSE Master of Science (third year of undergraduate study). They may also pursue the following programs:

Admission to Year 1

For applicants with a French or European baccalaureate, the admission process takes place on the Parcoursup platform. For better chances of success, we recommend applicants to follow a mathematics course (specialization or elective) in their final year of high school. Find the course description on Parcoursup.

For applicants holding a non-European degree, please follow the DAP - Etudes en France procedure. If needed, you can get in touch with the Université Toulouse Capitole International Office.

Admission to Year 2

All TSE students who successfully completed their first year is automatically eligible for the second year.

External students may apply if they successfully completed a first year of study following their high school diploma (first year of CPGE, first year of a Licence in Economics at another university in France or in other countries) or have 60 ECTS credits. Selection is based on academic records. 

Courses are taught entirely in French and a C1 French language certificate may be required depending on the applicant’s profile (TCF or DALF exams).
