A Unique Opportunity to Engage Directly with the Real-World Challenges Faced by Businesses and Public Institutions
Since its creation, Toulouse School of Economics (TSE) has placed a strong emphasis on collaborative research, driven by the ambition of becoming one of the world’s leading centres for economic research. Over the years, its many partners have benefited from the institution’s cutting-edge economic expertise and evidence-based analysis.
These collaborations are equally valuable for TSE researchers, providing opportunities to test, refine and enrich their theories through direct engagement with the challenges faced by businesses, regulators and public institutions. Indeed, the research on regulation conducted by Jean Tirole, which was recognized with the 2014 Nobel Prize in Economics, was partly shaped by this long-standing tradition of close interaction between academic research and economic stakeholders.
