Student Organizations

Conferences, events, sports, culture, or community service: student-led initiatives, driven by dedicated students and supported by TSE, bring the campus to life every day.

@ StudioTchiz

Student organizations play a key role in the student experience. Sports activities, social events, tutoring, lectures, and cultural projects: there are numerous student-led initiatives that offer a wide range of opportunities to get involved, build connections, and enrich your academic journey from day one.

Two student organizations play a central role in fostering the TSE community. Throughout the year, they organize orientation activities, events, sports and cultural activities, and other publishing projects. To cater to the specific needs of the school’s students, their structure mirrors that of the academic programs: Before TSE brings together students in the "cycle préparatoire (Years 1 and 2 of Undergraduate), while the  ”Bureau des Élèves (BDE)” unites those in the "cycle école" (TSE Master of Science and Master’s degrees).

Alongside these organizations, Junior Études enables students to put their knowledge into practice by conducting research and consulting projects in statistics and economics.

Aimed at first- and second-year students in the TSE preparatory program, Before TSE actively participates in campus life through numerous initiatives designed to support students from the moment they arrive at the university. It serves as a unifying force among peers, bringing them together through shared experiences.

Throughout the year, BeforeTSE organizes a variety of events: social gatherings, sports tournaments, conferences, and more. Through these initiatives, we aim to create a supportive and close-knit environment where every student can find their place and build lasting relationships. The association is led by a dedicated team that believes academic success also depends on a fulfilling and enriching student life.

Margaux DUHEM, Head of Before TSE

The "Bureau des Élèves TSE" (BDE TSE) is the student association representing students in the "cycle école" (TSE Master of Science, and Master’s degrees), coordinating and supporting all activities designed for them.

Organized into several specialized Offices (Events, Sports, Media), the BDE TSE organizes and supports numerous initiatives throughout the year: sports activities, cultural events, magazine production, conferences, parties, and other social events. The goal is to provide students with an enriching and dynamic experience throughout their academic journey.

The Events Office

A true driving force behind student life, the Events Office organizes more than twenty events throughout the year (2025–2026). Among the highlights are the Orientation Weekend (WEI), the Ski Weekend (WES), and the Gala, which mark the year’s key moments. In addition to these major events, numerous parties are held at partner bars that are landmarks of student life in Toulouse, along with themed events. These gatherings allow students to come together, socialize, and unwind outside the academic setting.

The Sports Office - Blue Hawks

The Sports Office brings students together through sports and inter-university competitions, helping to foster a vibrant sports culture within the School. The Blue Hawks currently consist of 8 teams competing in several team sports. This dynamic reflects the students’ commitment and their desire to represent the School. Open to everyone, the Sports Office welcomes both experienced athletes and beginners alike. Everyone can get involved, whether on the field or cheering from the stands.

The Media Office

The Media Office offers students the opportunity to develop their public speaking skills through speech contests, lectures, and public speaking workshops. It provides a platform for those who wish to refine their fluency and confidence when speaking in public. A variety of lectures enrich this experience, covering topics that broaden students’ perspectives beyond the academic setting. At the same time, *The TSEconomist*, TSE’s student magazine, brings together students interested in writing, journalism, and content creation. Articles, interviews, and feature stories are developed in line with an editorial mission aimed at fostering critical thinking about major societal issues, while strengthening ties among students, faculty, and alumni.

TSE’s Junior Études, a member of the National Confederation of Junior Enterprises, offers students the opportunity to put the knowledge and skills they have acquired during their studies into practice by participating in real-world projects for companies, public institutions, and various organizations.

Serving as a bridge between the academic and professional worlds, it operates in the fields of Economics, Statistics, data analysis, and decision-making support.
