The Toulouse School of Economics offers a two-year standard-track master’s program in Economics and Law, with some courses taught in English. The combination of these two disciplines addresses a real need in the job market for specialists capable of addressing complex issues that draw on the knowledge and modes of reasoning specific to both disciplines—whether in terms of the strategic behavior of firms or individuals from an economic perspective, or the assessment of actions (and procedures) in the event of disputes from a legal perspective.
The first year builds upon the first year of the TSE Master of Science in Economics and Law (third year of the Licence program).
In the second year, students have the option to continue on to the Master’s in “Economics and Competition Law” with an “Economist” track.
Students are trained in industrial economics modeling and develop the ability to analyze and understand how markets function and the strategies firms employ. They also develop a rigorous understanding of the rules governing competition policy and law.
