eCandidatures
eCandidatures?
This procedure allows you to apply for admission to one of our programs (excluding our L1 programs) for the upcoming academic year.
By logging into the application, you’ll be able to access a detailed list of programs—which may be further broken down by specific recruitment campaigns dedicated to specific publics (international students, external applicants, or current TSE students)—and find out the application deadlines.
We'll explain everything below!
How does it work?
Required documents
- Resume
- Cover letter
- Transcripts and certificates
- Degrees
- Language proficiency certificates
- Recommendation letters by academic referees (for external candidates applying to a Master's level)
- GRE test results (for foreign degree holders applying to a Master's level)
The exact list depends on the program, and in particular on the admission requirements.
Calendar
Our campaigns are organized as follows:
- Late October–early November: Eiffel Scholarship or Bachelor of Science applicants
- January–early February: graduate programs or Bachelor of Science applicants
- March-April: applicants holding a French degree and aiming for a Master 2 program
Check the exact date on eCandidatures, under the “List of Courses” section.
Procedure
Step 0: First, visit our presentation pages to learn about our programs and find all the specific information regarding admission requirements (under “Admission” tab). Are you required to apply via eCandidatures? You've come to the right place—check out the information below to make the process easier.
You will receive emails at each step of your application, so make sure to provide a valid email address and check your inbox regularly.
From the app’s home page at the top, click on “Create an Account.”
- TSE students: log in with your credentials, then fill out the application information. This step is essential; it allows the system to retrieve your academic records.
- External students: Click on “Create an Account.”
A new account must be created for each academic year. An account used in 2025–2026 will no longer be valid for 2026–2027.
When you create an account, your email address will be verified. Once verified, fill out the fields to complete your application.
You can select courses once you have created an account and logged in. Select the programs you wish to apply to.
A table listing your various applications provides an overview of your progress. Double-click on a course to view a detailed summary and, if necessary, submit supporting documents and additional forms.
From the detailed overview of the program you’re applying for, you can access the list of required documents. Use the controls to upload the file corresponding to each document.
What formats and file sizes are accepted?
- Formats: PDF (unprotected), JPG, or PNG
- File size: 2 MB maximum per file
How do I submit my documents correctly?
- One file per section: If you have multiple diplomas, combine them into a single document (PDF or single scan) before uploading them
- Quality: Make sure your scans are legible and oriented correctly
- Special cases: If a requested document does not apply to you, click the “Not applicable” button if this option is available
Go to the “Additional Forms” tab to access the link for filling out an additional form. This step is essential whenever an additional form is required: it is part of the application.
Once all the required documents have been submitted and the requested additional forms have been completed, your application is ready. The “Submit My Application” button will turn green.
Click it to submit your application. Please note that this action cannot be undone.
1 - Administrative Review
First, we will verify that your application is complete and ensure that all required documents have been submitted and are legible.
You can check the status of your application in your eCandidatures account:
- “Complete”: Your application has been forwarded to the Academic Committee for review
- “Incomplete” / Illegible documents: You must promptly correct or add the missing documents
2 - Academic Review
Complete applications are forwarded to the Academic Committee for review. The committee bases its decision on the various information you have provided, and, if applicable, your internal academic results if you are a TSE student.
Once the review is complete, decisions are published. You will receive an email, and your eCandidatures account will be updated.
Once the admission decisions have been published, it is up to you to finalize your application.
1 - "Selected": You have received an admission offer
Congratulations! you have been admitted into the program for the upcoming academic year. There is one final step you need to take, which is very important to secure your spot: please confirm your application by clicking on the green “Confirm Application” button.
If you wish to withdraw, click the red “Withdraw Application” button. Please note that this action is irreversible.
Please note: The dates for confirmation or withdrawal are listed on your admission letter. Be sure to meet these deadlines to guarantee your spot in the program!
2 - "Rejected": Your application has received a negative answer
The reason for this decision is detailed in your file. If you submitted multiple applications, this outcome may be explained by the fact that you have received an offer for one of them.
You may request further information by contacting our office. The contact information is provided in the email containing the decision.
Finally, you may challenge this decision by filing an informal appeal. Write a letter to the Director of the TSE School and send it—along with any supporting documentation relevant to your situation—to the address provided in the decision email.
