MonMaster?
This procedure allows you to apply to the M1 level of the TSE Master of Science for the 2 specializations offered in apprenticeship (below):
- Economics Domain: Applied Economics
- Data Science Domain: Econometrics, Statistics
MonMaster is a national application process; the timeline and procedures are standardized across all French higher education institutions.
If you are aiming for one of these specializations for your final year of the TSE Master of Science (M2 level), you can submit your application via MonMaster. Please note that only a few spots will be available on this platform. To apply to another specialization, please follow the eCandidatures procedure.
We'll explain everything below!
How does it work?

- A resume
- A cover letter
- Complete transcripts for all years of study following high school

Procédure
Step 0: First, visit our program pages to learn about the specifics of each program and to find all the information regarding the admission requirements (the “Admission” tab). Then, review the information below to help you with the application process.
You will receive emails, so be sure to provide a valid email address. Check your email regularly.
Create your account starting in February.
If you are changing your academic track, you must create a new account. An account used in 2025–2026 will no longer be valid for 2026–2027.
During the application phase, you may submit up to 15 preferences for non-work-study programs and an additional 15 preferences for work-study programs.
These preferences are counted by master’s degree track within a given institution. Therefore, submitting applications to multiple programs offered within the same master’s degree track will count as only one preference.
You are asked to provide two types of information for your applications:
- Information common to all your applications, grouped under the “My Applicant Profile” tab: your personal details, your post-high school education, your transcripts, your student activities, etc.
- Information specific to each of your applications, detailed in the application profiles found in the “My Applications” (or “My Work-Study Applications”) tab: a cover letter, a language test, a research proposal, grades in certain subjects, etc.
Starting in June, you will receive responses from the institutions.
“Yes”: The program has accepted you. Congratulations! You can accept the offer definitively—all your other choices will then be canceled—or keep your choices on hold if you prefer to wait for other responses.
You are on the waitlist: In the details for each application for which you are on the waitlist, you will find the following information: your position on the waitlist, the ranking assigned to you by the institution, and the ranking of the last candidate admitted last year. By comparing your ranking to that of the last candidate admitted to the program, you can get a clearer idea of your chances of being admitted.
However, if a program is appearing on the platform for the first time, this information will not be available.
You have not been admitted: At the end of the main admission phase, if none of your applications have been accepted by the institutions, you may submit new applications during the supplemental phase. The institutions set the admission requirements, limited enrollment capacities, and the criteria for reviewing applications for each program.
Applications are reviewed against these criteria by the academic committee for each program. The committee uses these criteria to rank applicants or reject applications. The institution must provide a reason for any rejection.
Please note: Your application may be rejected if your application package is administratively incomplete. It is therefore essential that you ensure you have correctly provided all required documents and information.
Has your application been accepted? Congratulations—we look forward to welcoming you!
Please review the details in the email sent to you, then visit our enrollment pages.
Our enrollment campaigns for the first year of the Master’s program begin in July. The academic year starts in early September with a welcome event for students.
