Research initiative on the value of medicines
Partner since 2019
Leem has supported the work of TSE economists since 2019 through the TSE Health Center and renewed this commitment in 2025. The research initiative is structured around the economic and societal value of medicines, ensuring access to them, supporting innovation, and analyzing regulatory and pricing mechanisms at both the national and international levels.
Activities
The research initiative combines several types of activities:
- Conducting research on identified topics,
- Presenting the research at scientific events as well as to healthcare professionals and health authorities in France,
- Carrying out outreach activities to disseminate the research findings.
The Initiative draws in particular on the event and outreach activities of the TSE Health Center and benefits from enhanced visibility through the Center’s various communication channels.
Research projects are part of a long-term strategy. Activities carried out within this framework are based on structured management and regular exchanges between TSE researchers and Leem teams.
Priority research areas
- The value of medicines and ensuring access to them
- Support for innovation
- Regulatory mechanisms and international factors impacting pricing policies and the pharmaceutical sector
