Research initiative on health economics and pharmaceuticals

Conducted in partnership with GERS, this initiative aims to advance research in health economics and pharmaceuticals by drawing on sales data from pharmacies (both community and hospital-based) in France.

Partner since 2019

A TSE partner since 2019, GERS (Group for the Development and Production of Statistics) played an important role in the creation of the TSE Health Center in 2021.

GERS provides TSE researchers with exclusive access to pharmacy sales data (both community and hospital pharmacies) across France. Among the first to utilize this data for scientific purposes, TSE researchers—both senior and junior—have been able to develop and publish seminal works on the pharmaceutical sector.

Even today, this access to data continues to fuel their research on medications, innovation, and health policies in France. This research is highlighted through the activities of the TSE Health Center.
