13th Postal Economics Conference on E-commerce, Digital Economics and Delivery Services

April 16–17, 2026

Room Auditorium Jean-Jacques Laffont and Auditorium A4

Scope and objective

This in-person biennial conference, co-organized by the Toulouse School of Economics (TSE) and La Poste Groupe welcomes submissions of recent research contributions to the conference topics whether theoretical, econometric, or policy oriented. It is intended to foster exchanges between professionals and academic researchers. More than ten years ago, the “postal” conference initiated a successful widening in the topics, to take into account the digital revolution that shakes up the sector. The development of electronic means of communication affects the core business of transport and delivery operators through multiple phenomena. Electronic substitution of mail and other postal products, growth of e-commerce and its impact on parcel delivery activity will have a crucial impact on the future of postal operators. Today, environmental and societal issues are also high in the postal operators’ agenda.
