The careers service is pleased to welcome Jeffrey Franks, Assistant Director of the IMF’s European Department and mission chief for France and Austria, on Thursday 11 March 2021 at 5:00PM who will prensent a lecture on "The French Economy in times of COVID".

France has been one the European countries most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and has consequently faced one the largest economic shocks.  The webinar will present the latest views of the IMF on the crisis, the French authorities’ response, and policies needed to create a more inclusive, green, and productive economy in the post-pandemic period.

These talks aim to develop the economic culture of students and to learn more about case studies.
