In 2021, the Transports Regulatory Authority (ART) and TSE initiated a research partnership for the motorway sector, which was renewed in 2025 for the rail sector.
The aim of the "Economic regulation of railway sector" initiative is to produce research and share the results, with a view to inform the economic regulator of the rail sector and ultimately contribute to improving the quality of service of essential rail transport infrastructure.
ART supports TSE Competition Policy and Regulation Center for and TSE Infrastructure & Networks Center.

About ART
ART is an independent public authority responsible for the economic regulation of the rail, motorway concession, airport, and coach transport sectors.
