Aims and Scope
The aim of the conference is to bring together researchers working on policy-relevant issues around the determinants and consequences of investments in human capital, broadly defined. Topics include—but are not limited to—school market design, school/college choice, active labor market policies, the role of subjective expectations and learning, AI and the labor market, spatial inequalities in education outcomes, the selection and retention of public servants (teachers, nurses, etc.), household welfare and inequality over the life-cycle.
The program features contributed sessions with around 15 papers in total. In addition, the conference include a roundtable with practitioners to discuss pressing issues on human capital policy.
