About
Pension funds can play a central role in the functioning of modern economies. By offering individuals long-term savings, they enable them to achieve the standard of living they desire at the end of their working lives. Pension funds therefore in principle have a long investment horizon that allows them to invest in risky assets such as equities or long bonds, which are crucial for financing the economy.
In view of the interest for ERAFP of the work carried out by TSE researchers, particularly in applied and fundamental research relating to long-term investment and the financing of pensioners, ERAFP wished to make use of the research work and, more generally, the activities of the Topic Centre.
