Background and objective
The workshop brings together researchers to discuss advances in the topics of Economics of Platforms, in particular digital platforms. The workshop was previously hosted in Berlin (twice), Roma (twice), Bologna, Capri and Barcelona, with a format that fosters fruitful and in-depth discussions on the latest developments in the economics of platforms.
Organizing committee
The 2026 ECOP workshop is co-organized by Özlem Bedre Defolie (EUI, CEPR), Emilio Calvano (Luiss University, CEPR), Bruno Jullien (Toulouse School of Economics), Andrew Rhodes (Toulouse School of Economics) and Sandro Shelegia (University of Pompeu Fabra and BSE).
