The TSE debate on the theme of healthcare industry in France took place with:

Eric Baseilhac's Biography: Eric Baseilhac has a PHD. in Medicine with a master's degree in health policy from Sciences-Po Paris. He first practiced medicine for ten years. The founding of a patent led him to found and develop a company specialized in nutrition. He joined the pharmaceutical industry in 2003 at JANSSEN Laboratories (Johnson & Johnson Group) where he became Executive Director in charge of Market Access, then at LILLY as Director of Corporate Affairs for France and Benelux.  He has been Director of Economic and International Affairs at LEEM since November 2013.

Pierre Dubois' Biography: Pierre Dubois is professor of Economics at TSE, fellow of the CEPR and of the Institute for Fiscal Studies in London. His work includes research on industrial organization, demand models, household behavior, health and pharmaceuticals, food demand, development economics and applied econometrics. He has been published in economics journals such as the American Economic Review, Econometrica, the Journal of Political Economy, the Review of Economic Studies, the RAND Journal of Economics, the Review of Economics and Statistics, the Journal of the European Economic Association, the International Journal of Industrial Organization, the Journal of Development Economics and the Journal of Labor Economics. Pr. Dubois received his PhD in economics from EHESS Paris, has been assistant professor at the University of Montréal, has held visiting positions at Berkeley and Northwestern University and has been Visiting Professor at Harvard University in 2015 and 2019-2020. He has also been Managing Editor of the International Journal of Industrial Organization from 2013 to 2018, Scientific Director of the Toulouse School of Economics during 2015-2019 and is currently associate editor of the European Economic Review and Co-Editor of the Journal of the European Economic Association (2021-).

François Lacoste's Biography: François Lacoste joined bioMérieux in 2000. He is currently Executive Vice-President of Research and Development. Before joining bioMérieux, François held various management positions in R&D at Rhône Mérieux and Merial. He is a graduate of the National Veterinary College of Toulouse and has post-graduate degrees from the Pasteur Institute, Paris in Virology and from the National Veterinary School, Maison Alfort in Immunology. He also took an Executive Management Course at INSEAD.
