Background and Objectives
Insurance decisions provide a rich ground for identifying the existence and consequences of human behavioral limitations. They involve risk, uncertainty, complexity as well as death-related, long term and passive decisions. In this workshop, we will present and discuss some papers using different methods (e.g., theory, experiments, econometrics) and interdisciplinary research, and that contribute to a small but growing literature at the interface between behavioral and insurance economics.
