Workshop on the Economics of Antibiotics

This workshop on economics of antibiotics is going to gather the few economists in Europe that work on the economic issues of antibiotics usage and financing. Antibiotics are an important of the therapeutic tools that have allows huge progress in health care. However, resistance to antibiotics has been growing and is threatening more and more the health care system. It raises question on the best usage of antibiotics in our medical systems and also on the best ways to incentivize innovation against antibio resistance. Economic incentives and health care organization are important for the efficiency and sustainability of the system. Recent economic research around these questions will be presented at the workshop.

The health pass includes three types of evidence, encoded in the QR-Code
- a certificate of vaccination attesting to a complete vaccination schedule
- a certificate of negative PCR or antigenic test less than 72 hours 
- a certificate of positive test of at least 11 days and less than 6 months as proff of recovery for people who have had Covid-19
