Toulouse School of Economics (TSE) and Institute for Advanced Study in Toulouse (IAST) are world-class research institutions in the social sciences.
TSE is one of the leading research institutions in economics and in the world, ranked for example as the No. 1 economics research institution in Continental Europe by ARWU (“Shanghai Ranking”) and by the number of ERC grants.
IAST is a pioneering interdisciplinary institute in the social sciences, bringing together researchers from seven disciplines (economics, law, political science, psychology, history, biology, anthropology). It hosts permanent senior faculty, associated senior faculty, and more than 20 postdoctoral researchers.
The successful development of TSE’s and IAST’s research since 2011 would not have been possible without generous funding from the CHESS grant and the two LABEX grants that preceded it (LABEX IAST and LABEX and IAM-TSE).
