Chaired by the representative of the Jean-Jacques Laffont-TSE Foundation, the Research Council, which is made up of a majority of elected representatives of staff and students, in accordance with the strategic orientations defined by the Board of Directors, is consulted and deliberates on
- any question concerning the institution's scientific policy, in terms of research and doctoral training, scientific evaluation procedures and the link between teaching and research
- applications for accreditation to award national degrees and projects to create or modify the institution's own degrees
- the institution's policy on the recruitment of teachers and researchers and the common principles governing their careers.
