Biography
Isis Durrmeyer is a full professor at the Toulouse School of Economics and a research fellow of the CEPR. She joined TSE in 2016, after obtaining a PhD in economics from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a post-doctoral position at the University of Mannheim.
Her research interests lie at the intersection of empirical industrial economics and public policy evaluation. She has developed structural models to evaluate environmental policies in the car market and urban transport policies.
From 2018 to 2023, she worked on a project funded by the French National Research Agency with her co-principal investigator Mathias Reynaert. Together, they are evaluate the economic and environmental effects of environmental regulations on the European automobile market.
In 2019, she was awarded a prestigious ERC starting grant to study price dispersion, understand the reasons for it and assess the consequences for consumers.
In 2024, she obtained the highest French University diploma (``HDR, Habilitation à diriger des recherches’’) that allows her to supervise PhD students.
