Spectrum Auctions and Market Structure Conference

The Toulouse School of Economics and the Department of Economics at the University of Zurich, with the support of Sunrise, are organizing a conference on “Spectrum Auctions and Market Structure” in Zurich on September 19, 2025 (1:00 PM – 7:00 PM).

Background and objectives

This half day international conference will bring together academics, policymakers, and industry professionals for a program structured around three main sessions:

•         Empirical research     
•         Industry perspective     
•         Regulatory perspective     

The main objectives of the conference are to share and discuss recent research, guide the setting of a research agenda ahead which can help advance our understanding of spectrum auctions and market structure and provide practical insights for policy.

The TSE and UZH teams have designed a high-level agenda including presentations by renowned researchers in the field and interaction with invited representatives of the industry and regulators in Europe.
