Abstract:
Economic consulting makes an increasing use of quantitative techniques in a large range of applications. How can economists apply their traditional set of skills to issues in and beyond the field of competition economics? This talk will argue that the combination of economic and quantitative skills is nowadays a potent tool to adress key strategic issues for firms. Case studies will be analyzed in detail to make this point.
