Can investors do well by doing good?

Sylvain POUGET, TSE researcher, will present  to students a paper on "Can investors do well by doing good?", on Thursday, 16 October 2014.

Amphi MB II from 5 to 6.30 pm

Abstract:

Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) pays attention not only to companies' financial results but also to their impact on society and on the environment. SRI is attracting more and more investors and institutional investors. Why is it the case? What is the impact of SRI  on the economy and on the financial performance of investors? During his speech, Sébastien Pouget will discuss the possibility for SRI to be both a source of improvement in corporate behavior and a source of enhanced profitability for investors. He will then provide concrete examples showing that reconciling these two objectives is not a utopia.
