Résumé

The aim of this talk is to provide an introduction to some key concepts and results in evolutionary game theory. In particular, we will discuss the concept of an evolutionarily stable strategy, the replicator dynamic, and deterministic and stochastic population dynamics in finite normal-form games. We will also discuss how evolutionary predictions relate to standard solution concepts in non-cooperative game theory, and briefly discuss some recent results on the evolutionary stability of preferences in strategic interactions.
