Biography

Arnaud Reynaud is research director at INRA (French Institute for Research in Agriculture) and member of the Toulouse School of Economics (France). He is a natural resource economist with a strong specialization in water economics. He has worked on dynamic models for water allocation across heterogeneous agents and has conducted research on the regulation of the water industry (efficiency of concession contract, optimal level of vertical integration). He has also realized some global assessments of the macro-economic impact of water policies in Europe for the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission.. He was awarded the Quality of Research Discovery Award by the American Association of Agricultural Economics in 2006.
