Sylvain Chabé-Ferret first studied at AgroParisTech. He holds a PhD in economics from the University of Auvergne. He spent a post-doctoral year visiting Cowles Foundation and the Department of Economics at Yale University and worked at Irstea, a government-run research center focused on environmental policies, before joining TSE. Sylvain specializes in the econometrics of causal inference with applications to the evaluation of Payments for Environmental Services and of Job Training Programs.
