Christophe Bisière is a Professor of Finance at IAE Toulouse – School of Management. He received his doctorate in Economics from Aix-Marseille University in 1994, before joining Toulouse University. He spent a year as Economic Fellow at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, in Washington D.C. His research concerns the microstructure of financial markets. His recent scientific publications include papers on imperfect competition in financial markets, on equilibrium discovery and preopening mechanisms, and on the information content of trades.
