Prestigious awards for TSE transport economists PDF Print E-mail
ITEAAt the Kuhmo-Nectar conference (Berlin, 18-22 June) of the International Transportation Economics Association (ITEA):

- Marc Ivaldi (senior researcher) and Daniel Coublucq (PhD student) received the "Best Paper Overall" award

- Antonio Russo (PhD student), received the "Junior Researcher Best Paper" award
  • Marc Ivaldi and Daniel Coublucq received the "Best Paper Overall" award for their joint paper: "Static-Dynamic Efficiency Tradeoff in the US rail freight industry: Assessment of Open Access Policy".
  • Antonio Russo received the "Junior Researcher Best Paper" award for his paper "Voting on Road Congestion Policy".

In 2010, in Valencia, Marco Batarce (TSE PhD student) received the Junior prize for his joint paper with Marc Ivaldi: "Nonlinear Pricing in Transportation: an application to transist systems of Santiago de Chile".
