Statement on Scientific Integrity
The TSE Statement on Scientific Integrity was brought into practise on 1 January 2012, after a year of considerable reflection within our community. We are aware that this statement is somewhat pioneering; it signals the willingness of the TSE researchers to be as open and transparent as possible towards the general public regarding our work, in order to guarantee the independent nature of our research. Economic science has an important impact on society and the well-being of our fellow citizens. Our research can only be considered more valuable if the public esteem our researchers to be independent. This applies in particular to the wide and varied sources of funding of TSE, which must be clearly stated. Any opinions stated publicly by our researchers must also be based on confirmed research work already approved by our peers through publication in internationally-recognised high-quality journals. This is the aim of the TSE integrity statement, which may be subject to changes based on the feedback we may receive and the experience we may gain further to its publication. => Download the statement (pdf) => Article 2.5 List of Donors (2011-2012) (pdf) Ethics Committee According to article 4 of the Statement, the TSE Board of Directors created an Ethics Committee in order to make recommendations on the implementation of the scientific integrity policy.
