Conférence CEC – TSE : Les voies d’un accord climatique ambitieux et crédible

In the context of the Paris Climate conference in December 2015, the Climate Economics Chair (CEC) of Paris-Dauphine University, the Center for European Policy Studies (CEPS) and Toulouse School of Economics (TSE) launched a common approach for mobilizing economists, to emphasize the role of economic instruments and carbon pricing in any international agreement. 
 
This joint initiative led to 3 highlights : the launching Conference that took place on June 4, 2015, the Economists’ Call “Routes to an ambitious and credible agreement in Paris”, signed by more than 140 economists (visit the website dedicated to the Economists’ Call) and :

The conference of 14 October 2015 will bring together a dozen of international economists to discuss how economic principles could be applied in the implementation of an international climate agreement.

The academic morning of the conference will be followed by two roundtables to facilitate dialogue between economists, companies and policymakers in the afternoon.
